About the role

As the Moorings and Port Services Officer, the primary focus of your position is to assist and support Moorings Rangers in the development of a safe, efficient & environmentally sustainable mooring and berthing business. You will work simultaneously on operational system improvements while providing excellent stakeholder service regarding queries & disputes in the mooring and berthing business in the local ports. Your position ensures that the moorings and berthing business within Parks Victoria can respond to safety, efficiency, financial and environmental accountabilities.

You will be responsible for the issuing of annual permits and tax invoices and payment processing.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Experience of the process and management of moorings and berths across Port Phillip and Western Port.
  • Knowledge of the data base RMS (or similar) highly desirable.
  • Experience in customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience and knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Relevant level of knowledge of regulations and compliance procedures.
