Technical Expert - Underground Dispatch Specialist - Indonesia

We are working with a leading international mining company who are building a state-of-the-art copper and gold mine site. Due to the expansion of this operation, they are seeking a Technical Expert in Underground Dispatch systems to join their team in Indonesia.
This Technical Expert - Underground Dispatch Specialist will report to the Underground Project Manager and will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support for the underground mine dispatch system. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in installing dispatch systems in large underground mines, as well as experience using MineStar or similar fleet management systems. This role will be based in Papua, Indonesia and relocation assistance will be provided.
In this Technical Expert - Underground Dispatch Specialist role, you will also be responsible for:
- Collaborating with related parties to direct, communicate, and control the company's safety, health and environmental policies and procedures implementation, especially when working in an underground mine.
- Interacting with stakeholders of various operations and engineering departments of each mining operation to determine the end user requirements of an underground dispatch system.
- Using sound analyses to select the appropriate software package to best meet end user needs.
- Leading the installation and implementation of an underground mine dispatch software system including coordination with key stakeholders as the overall implementation project manager.
- Mentoring dispatch team leadership and front-line employees in the proper utilisation of dispatching software tools.
Essential requirements are:
- Bachelor's degree in Mine Engineering or closely related field.
- Proven experience installing underground dispatching systems & fleet management systems in underground mines.
- Fluent in English and willing to learn Bahasa.
- Willing to relocate to Papua, Indonesia.
